Performing Arts and Industrial Design is made up of a number of subjects within both Arts and Technologies learning areas. While these art forms have close relationships and are often used in interrelated ways, each involves different approaches to practices and critical and creative thinking that reflect distinct bodies of knowledge, understanding and skills.
The Performing Arts and Industrial Design faculty is supported by outstanding teachers and facilities. At Deception Bay State High School, our many extracurricular programs complement our varied subject areas and empower our students to become lifelong, thriving learners. This area of study offers a variety of learning pathways, including Vocational Education and Training.
