Applying for university can feel overwhelming, but there are now more opportunities than ever before.
While an ATAR remains an important pathway for many students, our partnership with UniSC at Petrie may provide an opportunity for selected students who meet eligibility criteria on the ATAR and Tertiary pathways, and eligible students on the Work ready pathway, to apply for an Early Offer Guarantee. This program allows successful applicants to receive conditional or guaranteed offers to university before the end of Year 12.
Through the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC), students can apply for a wide range of university and tertiary courses across Queensland and interstate. Our Year 12 Guidance Officer and Head of Senior Schooling works closely with students and families throughout the application process in Term 3 of Year 12, providing information sessions, individual guidance, and support with QTAC applications, preferences, and understanding university entry requirements.
We encourage all Year 12 students considering tertiary study to explore the opportunities available through QTAC and Early Offer Guarantee programs to maximise their post-school options.
